Summary Of Mrs. Debolt's Class

This year I learned tons of new life needing skills for technology. I learned how to make a maze on Microsoft Word. I also learned the definitions of many icons on Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. I learned lots of helpful information. I really liked the timed typing tests, but I didn't really like Typing Web. I think you should keep the timed typing tests and take away the Typing Web. I didn't like the Typing Web because in my opinion, I think it's a waste of time. I liked the timed typing tests because I thought it was more fun to do, because you only have to type for one minute.

End Of The School Year Feelings

I am kind of excited for the end of the school year because I won't have to worry about homework. I hate how the end of the school year is always hectic because I have less time to do my homework, and I   am always confused on the important days. I am excited for the last day of school because I get to sign people's yearbook, and I will have the opportunity to talk to my friends that are on the Trailblazers team. I am also sad because I will miss my friends, but I can always text them during the summer. I am nervous for the end of the school year because I'm kind of scared that I am going to do something stupid, like tripping over someone's foot or something like that. I will also miss my teachers too. As you can see, I have lots of mixed feelings for the end of the school year.

The Curse Of The Treasure Chest

If someone opens a treasure chest without permission, then he or she will have to stay on the island forever and will have bad luck. The following is in the treasure chest: diamonds, emeralds, gold, platinum, sapphires, and coins. The island is in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, and the animals that inhabit this island are nasty creatures. One of which, I will explain. This creature is half rat half human. The upper part of the creature is human like with arms, a face, and facial hair. The bottom half is rat like. There is a long pink tail and has pointy claws for its feet and has lots of brown fur.

The Story From Across The Fence

On the left side of the fence, it looks like this is some kind of  small town. There are lots of cars and poor looking houses and markets. There are also people in some of the buildings. This side of the fence has barely any green plants. The right side of the fence is like a love story because there is a hotel, two tennis courts, and a pool. There are lots of bright green plants, and looks like a rich place.

The Door That I Would Choose

I would choose the third door which leads to Wonderland. I would choose this door because I would like to go to a world where the things that are impossible are made possible. Well, when I enter this door, I would walk on a dirt road with bright talking flowers of all shapes and sizes. I would also see busy working butterflies delivering mail to the people of Wonderland. The houses in Wonderland are made of lollipops.

My Favorite Type Of Foods

My first favorite type of food is pizza. I absolutely love cheese pizza. I also like sausage pizza. My second favorite type of food is Chinese orange chicken. My dad usually cooks this every once in a while, and the orange chicken tastes very sweet. I also like tacos. I like my tacos stuffed only with meat and no vegetables. I'm not a vegetarian, so I rarely eat vegetables. I love croissants. I usually eat two big croissants for breakfast.

My Favorite Subject In School

My favorite subject in school is communication arts. I like this subject because I have the opportunity to write very vivid stories. Writing stories are one of my favorite things to do.Communication arts allows me to learn more about grammar  punctuation, and spelling. This can help me in the future and can also help me become a better writer. Everyday, I look forward to Communication arts because I can learn new and exciting things.

This picture reminds me about a doctor measuring people because the tape measure has numbers on it, which reminds me about a doctor.The tape measure is also long, which reminds me about people that are very very tall. When people use a tape measure to measure people, people are usually eager to find out their height.

My Embarrassing Moments

Actually, this year I've had a lot of embarrassing moments. I was in Mrs. Ganey's class, and we were learning how to sing the subordinating conjunction's song. Of course, there is always a person who says, let's do jumping jacks while singing! Mrs. Ganey agreed to the idea, so we had to do jumping jacks. I didn't want to, so I stayed in my seat. Mrs. Ganey comes over and says, " I am going to make you do jumping jacks in front of the whole classroom."

The Most Important Memory That I Would Bottle Up

The most important memory that I would bottle up is when I took a trip to Vietnam. I would open this memory up almost everyday. My only two memories about going to Vietnam is when my ears popped on the airplane and when I had to cross a bridge made of bamboo. If I were to uncork these memories, I would probably laugh at myself. I would laugh at myself because I was so scared on the airplane. I never really liked the airplane because it was loud and there were a lot of people. Looking back to the part where I had to cross a bamboo bridge, is very funny. I remember me wearing a pink flowered dress with ugly white tennis shoes. I only went a little way then stopped. These are the memories that I would bottle up.

My Favorite Animal

My favorite animal is a rabbit. This is my favorite animal because rabbits are quiet just like me. Rabbits do not require as much care, so I can still do the things on my schedule. I love rabbits because of their cute noses and their colors.  Rabbits eat vegetables, so if I don't eat my vegetables ,then I can just give the rabbit my leftover vegetables. I would rather go outside and play with rabbits because they are much more fun outside. These are the reasons why a rabbit is my favorite animal.

Comparing The Two Photos

 Comparing the two photos I could easily spot the difference. In the 2005 photo, there were no fancy electronic devices. In the 2013 photo, almost all the people had electronic devices. I think this is a significant change because the photos show how the world's technology has developed through time. Because of this change the world is different. Now when people go to special events, they can just bring their phones, i Pads, and just about anything. I think this is a good change because now, people can see things from far away without having to worry about not being able to see.

Dear Mrs. Debolt:

 Hi, my name is Hailey Nguyen. In this paragraph, I will be talking about the things I enjoy doing. In my spare time, I like to read in quiet places. I mostly read fiction books, because I don't like to read nonfiction books. I love to write long describing stories when the teacher asks me to write a three paragraph story. I absolutely love running. On the track, I like to sprint then run. The coaches always tell everybody to jog then run, but that doesn't work for me. Most of my friends tell me that I should do track because I'm fast, but my mom would not approve. Now that I have talked to you about the things I enjoy, I will talk about my fears.

When I was in preschool, my parents took my brother and I to Vietnam. I was afraid of  airplanes at the time, I still am. The reason why I don't like airplanes is because airplanes can crash,  are really crowded, and is in the air. I'm afraid of heights. When I was in Vietnam, my mom decided to take me across a bridge that was made out of  bamboo sticks tied together. I only took a few steps and turned back. I didn't like the idea of crossing a bridge that was only made of bamboo sticks tied together. Now that I have talked about my fears, I will talk about my experiences with technology.

 I am not really good with any type of electronic. I just got my first phone Saturday morning and am still confused on how to use it. My dad gets really frustrated when I can't operate an electronic. I like my phone, but it is really complicated to  me. I am not good with computers either. I got my first laptop last year, and I am still trying to operate it. Can you believe that! My mom hates it when I can't do a specific thing she wants me to do on the phone. She wanted me to try to do Face Talk to her friend all the way in China. Of course I can't, because I don't know how. I don't really like doing things on my laptop or phone, because it is complicated and I will probably mess something up. These are my experiences with technology.

What I Leared This Year!(:

This quarter I have Mrs. DeBolt for 4th hour Technology. I learned that some of the stuff that we do can be kinda not easy. Like right now we are doing a final in here and its semi hard. I also leared that you do alot of fun stuff,as long as you can get your work done when your supposed to get it done. I like that Mrs. DeBolt lets us listen to music sometimes while we are working. What i don't like about Mrs. Debolt is that we had to do the typing web and you had to do lessons and it was kinda hard because we had to type with certain fingers.

New Room: Pinterest Style! Part2

I just got some new decorations  for my room. I got some curtains that are black with fuzzy zebra print on them. My walls are going to be a nice hot pink design over a darker grey color. There is a cool hanging rack for purses,or other things you want to hang. All you do is put some hooked nails on your wall. The picture I saw on Pinterest is in  a pyramid shape, and looks really neat to have in my room. My mom helped me get some paint picked out and we may start in my Pinterest room next weekend(: I'm so excited to get the room I've always dreamed about. My mom and I are looking forward to continuing on re-modeling Cole and Kyle's room too,and even out bathroom.

New Room: Pinterest style!

                            

My mom said that I can redo my room if I wanted. I'm going to base most of my room ideas from Pinterest. Pinterest is a really awesome website that you can get loads of crafty ideas. My first idea is a really cool design with a paint roller and a piece of yarn wrapped around the roller. Another idea is to take a medal trash can and paint it whatever color you want and then turn it upside down as a little nightstand table.I also have got some really cool bookshelves off of Pinterest as well. The color of my room is first going to be grey, then  the design over it will be pink. I even found some wire letters that are huge and you can put pictures or whatever you want in it.

Mystery Door

Neverand is my place I would want to go. Neverland is like one big fairytale. I chose that  door because I think it would  be a fantastic adventure. There would be characters like Tinkerbell and Peter Pan. As I entered the door, I could see so much. it was like one gigantic storybook. Peter Pan and his kid crew would be up against Captain Hook on his pirate ship,with his doubtful pirate gang. Tinker  bell would be zooming around and helping defeat the pirates.

She's Not Dead!

My high school math teacher disappeared when I was sixteen years old. At a reunion, I received a letter with writing that seemed to be in code or something. My math teacher used to give us something similar like the letter at school. Seven of my classmates got the same letter,but different code. I knew she possibly wasn't dead. I knew by then, something was up. I pulled my classmates that personally got the letters aside and told them my hypothesis. We looked at our letters, but we didn't know what she was trying to say. I explained to them that if we had any of the papers from her class, we could figure out the code.We rushed to my house and i looked into my old book back at school and found one similar paper with all the same letters on all of our papers.It read,"Please help me I have been kidnapped." Then a envelope  was stuck on the back of mine. It had an address inside that read,"4568 blueberry Dr."


 

Mrs. DeBolt's Sub

There was a sub is Mrs. DeBolt's class a couple days ago. His name was Mr. Wilson. He acted very strange. He even acted like a turtle and went into his "shell" which was his bright blue shirt. I'm very glad Mrs. DeBolt is back because I didn't like that sub at all. He was very distracting and I didn't get all my minuets in for Typing Web. Although he told funny stories, I'd rather have Mrs. DeBolt any day! I thought it was very,and I mean very strange that he talked about his "love life" and other topics I don't want to remember.

Valentine's Day

February fourteenth is valentines day. Then we don't have to go to school on Friday so I can sleep in and enjoy the four day weekend. I might be going to my brother mike's house. I think it will be a lot of fun.

Twins

Twins are not hat bad, it's actually pretty fun and to have a twin. You get to see baby pictures of you for Halloween as two-peas in a pod. But, you mom likes to brag at random people I don't even know about how cute we are in Walmart. On my birthday (August 20,1999) my mom  posted on Facebook,"Happy Birthday!!" with lots,and I meant a LOT of baby pictures with me and Cole tagged in them. I love to be a twin,even know people say it must be horrible to be one. I dont have a twin that is a girl,so im okay because there is no sharing involed with me:) Bithday parties are the best.All family and friends come over and it's such a blast.

Random

This is a random blog post. I have know idea what to write about, so this is just random.Usually I have something fun do write about, but today I feel like doing nothing. I'm actually pretty tired,although I did stay up a little to late last night playing on my kindle.I also said to myself this morning,"Why can't I just sleep in just this once!?" But I was forced up by my mom and a little thing called school. I actually wanted to go to school in my pajamas for nothing,but then I though it wouldn't be worth a phone call to home or even an office referral (not even the good kind of office referral.) anyway.

All Bottled Up

One memory I would bottle up is the time when Iwas little and  had pink cowboy boots on and a chunk of watermelon in my hands,with the juice on my face. That day was on forth of July. I loved how I looked in my barney shirt with my orange sweat pants. My face was priceless and  loved how I was rockin-and-rollin my cute pink boots. I want to bottle that memory up because I love to see pictures memory's that my mom and dad have shared. I would definitely open that cute memory up when I miss being young or to just open it to see my face digging into the watermelon. I would also open I up when I get home from school or when we have big family "lets get out the baby pictures day."

Next Weekend

Next weekend I'm going to have my friend Tori over. Tori is one of my best friends, but lives in Desoto. Tori and I might be going to The Cave, which is an underground place when you can listen to live bands play, play volleyball, and lots of more fun activities like frisbee golf. She will be spending the night too. We will eat popcorn and watch movies all night, maybe throw in a game of hide-and-go-seek in the dark.

Veteran's Day

Yes, Veteran's Day is on a day we have school, but I think we should be able to have that day off. I think this because its the one day where all the Veteran's like to be honored for their special day, to be saluted for their hard-working effort.I mean,We do need to learn something about that special day by having the day off. Just yesterday it was Martin Luther King Day, and were off school, but I'm sure we will talk about it. we can do the same with Vet's Day too.

Father,2 Sons Feeze To Death on A Hiking trip

An Air Force veteran, outdoor-loving husband and father was on a weekend trip that was a surprise anniversary gift to his wife. Father and two sons ventured out on a hike on a remote trail. Only in light clothing,they had know idea how fast the weather turned furious and ugly. On the Ozark trial, Sunday January 15,2013, searchers found the three bodies out in the freezing cold weather.The Sheriff announced,"It was the cold that got them."

Imagination

I always wonder what little kids are always thinking about. Are they thinking about rainbows and unicorns,or dirt bikes and motorcycles? When I was a kid, I let my imagination run wild. I always thought of how Rapunzel's hair got so long,or why knight and shining armor always ended up, you know, "their hero" why cant the fairy tales end up with the girl being their knight and shining armor? Things I still think about.

The Railroad

The railroad is a place where you do anything you want. Some brave stunts done by teens are regrettable, and end up bad,so bad you could get killed. There was one person that stood out the most,she was a lonely girl that never talked to anyone. Her parents died in a car accident while crossing the railroad and got suck. I always liked to take that path by the railroad when I get off the bus.Something really strange happened that day.When I was on my way home, I saw something,no someone on that same railroad Iwalk by every day. I couldn't tell what is was but I herd whispers coming from that same railroad that the accident happened.

This Weekend

This weekend my brothers and I are going to my older brother Mike's house.When i go over there sometimes, I play with his dog named Chassie.Just recently, Mike got a new frame for his racecar. My brother Cole loves to help Mike in the garage and work on the racecar.On the other hand, I have another brother Kyle, who usually sits on the couch, watch T.V, and reads a good book or play on his kindle fire. He likes to go outside once and a while and we all go into the garage  just to hang out, listen to music, and mess around.We can"t go to the races because its too cold and racing season is over, but when it starts up again I'll be in the stands, rooting for 12s. I love my brothers house because its so huge and i have lots of fun doing random stuff!
